Yo Sloan.. is 'asstastic' a term of endearment? I may have to try that one on the honey, if so.

My G17 is still bone stock. Night sights soon, but not for 'tactical' reasons... just so I can dry-fire practice at night in the dark.

Sorry, can't resist. . .

The first modification I made to my GLOCK was to convert it to an H&K USP!

I highly recommend it.

:D

Now don't get all bent out of shape, I'm just kidding.

Shake

On my 17: Glock adjustable sights.
On my 22: Glock adjustable sights.
I've since added rubberized grip tape to my 17, and a Seattle Slug and aftermarket trigger to my 22, but they're stock otherwise.

G17L
a) extended slide stop
b) "the plug"
c) a 31-round mag
d) Bubits shoulder-stock
e) more mags
f) even more mags

to come:

g) A-Grip
h) adjustable Mepros

My G19,I first installed the extended:mag release, slide release, and slide stop to make things quicker.Later I bought the stainless guide rod and the 3.5 pound trigger kit from glockmeister and last two 17round hi caps. That gun would do damage in a hurry!!! :p

Went the connector route

Changed to a 3.5 lb connector,
added a Glockmeister scope mount,
added a 30mm BSA red dot scope.
plugged the strap channel
and changed floor plates on the mag.
I call it my comp gun,my wife laughs and says "your burnt up"!
and my G22 shot great out of the box anyway.
SAFE-SHOOTING!

Replaced:

1. Recoil spring/guide rod with Wolff dual assemblies (HATE the plastic ones)
2. Magazine springs with Wolf +10%
3. Sights: G30 has a Tru-Glo front and stock rear; G27 has AE Big Dot front and rear, with bright yellow model paint on the front sight.

G23. Changed out NY1 trigger spring for stock 3.5#. Left connector alone. Trigger pull is still weird but a lot easier.

I may have mis-voted and I'm not even in Florida. I can't remember if I switched to Mepro nite sites before I switched to Wolff springs and guiderods. I'm a very satisfied Glock customer on both, by the way, as I am with my KKM barrels.

The first thing I did to my Glock 19 was add the backstrap channel insert (Plug) the day I got it. Today, I just had Trijicon Night Sights installed on it. Next will probably be a new guide rod and recoil spring. After that, who knows.

The first thing I did was a trigger job, having shot 1911's for IPSC and IDPA competition I found the Glock factory trigger setting left much to be desired.

I would recommend without a moment’s hesitation both Dave’s Metal Works in Covina CA or Custom Glock both do fine work and their trigger jobs are second to none with a slight edge toward Custom Glock. http://www.custom-glock.com/

I've never had a reliability problem with my used G19 of 5 years, so the cycling internals have been left alone.

I don't think the trigger offers enough resistance to "fumbling", so I installed a New York trigger. Feels about the same as stock, but better resists a misplaced finger while grabbing in the dark (my house gun). Also helps prevent broken trigger springs, which I've seen a couple times.

I'd put Trijicons on if I could convince myself to spend an extra $100, but I hate the fact that they were out over time. Still, a good idea.
