Which Handguns "Hide Your Sins?"

I am generally a good shot with any hand gun once I get the feel of it, but if I really want to show off I use my Kimber Pro Carry 4" 1911. It is an absolute tack driver.

my two

Dan Wesson - Point Man 7 ( a 1911 in SS )
Has Match trigger , Match Barrel and Bowmor like Sights .
Just pull the trigger and shoot 9s, and 10s All day - OOps an 8!!!

My S/W 686 is just so good - can shoot 3" groups, standing , at 15 yds
with 158 gr SWC. All day long"]

My Springfield TRP 1911 is a pretty forgiving handgun to shoot. It makes me look better than I am. On the other side, my Glock 22 makes me look a lot worse. I like the gun, but I can't hit any thing with it.

Smith Model 10 38 special loaded with 124 grn +P hollowpoints.

Quoting the teacher at the range where I recently took my concealed carry license course, after shooting twelve rounds after a two year drought from the shooting range, shooting double action getting,a great group twice, right in the bad guys chest at ten yards-"O.K.,you can stop now,you killed him." :D

The first SP101 I ever bought. Wish I had that one back. Sold it to a buddy cause he just had to have it, and I figured I'd get another. Which I did, moved to a 3" model. Never did shoot as well with it. So I sold it and bought another 2" model. Just shot it the other day... shoots a tad high for my natural amount of bead. Damn, I miss my old one!

Browning Hi Power.....

and no, not because of the trigger...LOL...as most people will tell you they have a long creepy trigger. Aside from it just being a high quality gun, the ergonomics just about put you on point-of-aim just by raising it toward the target. You almost don't have to think about aiming.

Smith & Wesson Model 17-3. And while I had it, a Ruger MK III, 22/45.

The rest of them, I'm lucky if I can hit the ground with them.

my Springfield operator 1911 is my semi-auto pistol that I shoot best. Too bad the dang thing has been back to the factory twice for the exact same extraction issues and they still haven't fixed it. it's back there once again.

I shoot most revolvers pretty good. my heritage rough rider .22 is pretty accurate despite the fixed sights. Even my friends who aren't usually good shots can shoot it well.
