Which gun do you trust your life with ??

I'm with the "any of the ones I own" crowd, but I will most typically be found with my Glock 19 on my person somewhere. I've started open-carrying a lot more, actually, and I really, really like it.

I trust what I usually carry these days: Glock 26!!! :)

My list would include the following:

1) Sig-Sauer P220A .45ACP
2) Sig-Sauer P226 9m/m
3) Sig-Sauer P228 9m/m
4) Glock 27
5) Smith & Wesson Model 60 .38 Special
6) Smith & Wesson Model 28 .357 Magnum
7) Smith & Wesson Model 629 Classic .44 Mag
8) Remington 870 Marine Magnum 12 gague

You might find me armed with one or more of
these, at any given moment!!!

Best Wishes,
Ala Dan, N.R.A. Life Member

For carry, I would trust my life with either:
Wilson CQB
Les Baer Concept III
Wilson Sentinel
S&W Model 60

For home, I prefer:
Remington 870
Benelli Nova
Mossberg 590

Every one that I own ;) They are all dependable and reliable :) The one I carry the most is my Glock 27 ;)

I trust my life to the ones that have saved my life, my M-36 and my 686. Both , of course, bought many years before the cowardly S&W sellout.......WG6

For real defense, I choose knowledge of empty hand fighting. Considering that most engagements start before weapons are presented, I think this is a wise course.

If gunplay is required, I'll have to use my SA 1911 as that's all I have. Unless I'm in the house. That's when the Bad Guy should be really scared.

When Reason Fails.....

On the street - Kahr P9 with Remington Golden Sabre +P

In the woods - Taurus 85 UL stainless with different loads for different situations (snake shot for copperheads/watermoccasins, fmj's for alligators, Golden Sabre +P's for naughty people. I load based on the predicted situation. Usually 1-2-2 in the above mentioned order.

In the house - HK USP 45 with UTL and Winchester SXT's.

If the situation requires more than that, I'm headed to the gunsafe where my Winchester Defender 12guage wears 11 rounds on it's outside, and don't LET me have time to empty a few stripper clips into the mags of my pre-ban Bushmaster AR15 with 14.5" fluted barrel!!! ;)

I use a glock 21 on duty and a smith 37 to back it up. Off duty I use either a glock 31 or a sig 239 both in 357 sig. I would not hesitate to depend on my sig 220, GLock 20, Walther p99, Beretta 92 or HK usp in 45 if I had too. They are all reliable.

I intend to go into harms way.

If I'm going out in the woods with something on my hip, it's going to be a Ruger GP100 in .357 magnum.

If I'm going out for the evening and just want to make sure I'm not easy pickings, Walther PPK .380.

If I'm expecting the end-of-the-world, Springfield 1911A1 .45acp.

Take the long way home...

Well now just how close is the threat? I have the most confidence in my Kimber Compact but if you're talking within the distance of an average size room in a house, I'll throw my S & W Model 60 in the mix.

Can I use an 870? Now that I trust.

Most of the time it'll be my Beretta mini Cougar D 8000 9mm with Trijicon night sites. But on those really hot days down south I'll go with the Ruger SP-101 .357.
Both ultra reliable.

Any gun I own must be trustworthy or it gets dumped. If faced with danger, I'll take the Ruger Mini-14 first, followed by the Model 19 in .357 Mag and the Ruger P95 with hi-caps full of 9mm.

Last gun show I went to had a Benelli 12 gauge pump w/synthetic stock for under $400. Looked like an excellent burglar deterrent. Boy, was I tempted, but we just got done replacing the washing machine.

The one that I have with me. In all seriousness, I haved attempted to become familiar with all weapons that may be at my disposal, ranging from an MP5 to my duty weapon.
For a boat anchor, my 4506 is the one that works the best, and my 442 that backs it up. Rifle wise, my AR 15 and my PSS. And don't forget the good old 870.
