Which Glock for a raffle?

Joe,

I don't know if you have contacted Smyrna Police Distributors yet about this but they are pretty adamant about not selling firearms to anyone other than LE. I have seen them turn many civilian sales away. Have you contacted them yet? I know Glock doesn't sell direct at all any more. Even LE has to go through SPD or GTDistributors to get LE pricing now. (It was cool when they did though! Interesting place with great people working there on the few occasions I went and bought directly from them.:D)

On the other hand, since SPD and Adventure Outdoors are virtually one in the same, you might work out a good deal through AO if you contact a Glock representative or SPD first.

Oh, back to the subject of Glock USA's headquarters... If they'd just move out, leave the Glocks and let me build a small living quarters in there I would finally have "enough" Glocks. Ummmm, nahhhh! :D

Thanks again for all the suggestions and advice.

I have to take the information I have to the rest of the CCGOP Executive Committee and they will make a decision one way or the other.

A thought I had was even if the EC decides against it (for whatever reason) I could always do the raffle on my own and then donate the money to the party. Since I run the web site I can get away with posting the content there and selling tickets. :)

One way or the other I'll let you know what is decided soon.

If the winner isn't able to choose the model, then I would say flip a coin between a 40 caliber and 9mm. Either of these would be great considering the popularity of both cartridges.

R6, where is Smryna Police Distributors? Is it worth a trip to visit their store? Why don't they sale to the public? I am not familar with this particular place.

SPD is on Windy Hill Road (grey-looks like a house) on the left immediately before you get to the road Adventure Outdoors in on.. I think they may only supply orig-cap mags to their customers to make things easier. I bought a holster from them, great people to deal with though. They won't even sell a gun minus the mags. GT-Distributers is the same way. Oh well  look at http://www.gtdist.com and http://www.spdist.com/WebStore/Shopping.htm
