Which Firearms Would Elect to Keep?

If a law were to pass by Congress that allowed you to have a High Powered Rifle, Small Caliber Rifle, A Revolver, A Semi-Auto Pistol, and a Shotgun. Which ones would you elect to keep?

I have ran this through my mind several times being I live in the Republic of Kalifornia and the decision was not an easy one to make, but this is what I would select.

Remington Model 700 ADL .308 Winchester, Remington Model 700 BDL 22-250, S&W Model 625-4, 45 ACP Revolver, Colt Gold Cup National Match 45 ACP, and a Remington 870 Express.

Hehehehe
The State of California can bite me....I won't give up any. All of them are important to me, use-wise and sentimentally ( I have all of my Dad's)

Officially (playing the game until we rectify the situation):
Not sure about the rifles (decisions, decisions)...Ruger Blackhawk .357 6.5 inch,1911A .45; Remington 870

Are you kidding, Don?

I'll keep all of my guns, thank you very much.

This is easy....

Accuracy International AWP .308 "Varmint" Rifle
Colt Flattop AR Pre-ban w/sound suppressor and 4x12 Regular Scope & Night Vision Scope
Freedom Arms .454 Casull
Springfield 1911 - Gunsite Service Pistol
Beretta 1201 FP w/Gunsite Police Shotgun Package.

"Yes Officer, all the rest of my firearms have been sold. To whom? Lets see, Bob Jones bought some, so did John Smith."

OK, for those of you who refuse to "give up" anything, even in theory, just tell us, of all your guns, which one(s) do you like the most/ have the strongest sentimental attachment to?

For me, Glock 29 10mm & Rem 1100 12 gauge. Oh yeah, and my 10/22.

I loves my Mossy 12-gauge and S&W .357, so there's two categories spoken for.

I'd also have a .308 semi (probably Remington 7400) and a 10/22 converted to select-fire.

Hey, you didn't say anything about rock and roll...

OK, I'll play too.

Rifle - High Power: DeLisle Carbine - .45ACP - suppressed
Rifle - Small Caliber: Ruger 10/22 - full auto - suppressed
Revolver: "4 S&W M-66
Semi-Auto Pistol: Ruger Mark II - suppressed
Shotgun: Remington 870, extended magazine [I forgot it before :D ]

So the high power rifle is not that high powered, I can still use it to survive the same with the two Rugers. I do not see the need for others to know that I have been shooting.

Okay, I guess you mean: "Which ones would we tell everyone we were keeping?"

Blaser R93 (can I keep all the barrels?)
Benelli M1
S&W 586
Glock 23
Chuck Hearn Custom 10/22

Actually, I don't have any guns except an old Daisy Red Ryder, but that is too dangerous - could put your eye out. So I'd probably turn that in. I just read these boards for fun.

H/P Rifle : Steyr SSG69 PII
S/C Rifle : Ruger 10/22 D&J Bullet
Revolver : Freedom Arms .475 Linebaugh
S/A Pistol: USP 45
Shotgun : Benelli M3 Super90

The H/P rifle was a toss-up between the Steyr and the HK 91. The 91's not a tack driver but it's an excellent general purpose rifle.

That easy

My Armalite Ar-10 308.
My Bushmaster DCM/CMP Ar-15 223.
My Smith&Wesson 686 6in. 357.
My Kimber Super Match 45.acp
My Remington 90 T

But it would be a cold day in He-double hockystick before I ever gave up any of my guns

Where is the difference between having our arms under our own possession and under our own direction, and having them under the management of Congress? If our defense be the real object of having those arms, in whose hands can they be trusted with more propriety, or equal safety to us, as in our own hands?"

HP Rifle - Dakota M77 in .300 Win Mag
Small caliber - Kimber .22
Revolver - Power Custom .44 Special
Semi-Auto - Les Baer Custom Tactical .45
Shotgun - Merkel 200E

I'll keep my:

AR15A4C
Ithaca XS Lightning .22lr
Ruger GP100A
Glock 23
Rem. 870

And every other gun I have I will give them ......BULLETS FIRST!

OH YES, I love my Tupperware

Greetings. The ones that I would tell them I had are:
1. High powered rifle: BRNO (custom) .375 H&H

2. Small caliber rifle: Remington 700 BDL Varminter in 6mm Remington

3. Revolver: S&W Model 442 (I might alter this for one of their J-Frame .357s)

4. Semiauto pistol: One of my lightly customized 1911s in .45ACP. (The Browning HP in 9mm is my favorite, but the 1911 is so easy to maintain and replace parts and/or customize with "drop in" parts. It also is easy to get accurate handloads with either lead or jacketed rounds.)

5. Shotgun: Remington 12 ga 870 Express.

I don't much like the thought of this at all.
Best.
