i have 0 revolvers because i like to have a high round capacity but i would like to get a revolver one day to add to what i already have.

Have both but many more autos right now. I will add as I find myself now collecting brass I seem to be shooting my revolvers more. Is that being lazy or just convience?

I try to stay 50/50, or that's what I tell the wife when I discover another impending "need".:D It really depends on what's hot.

-7-

13 revolvers, 4 semi-auto pistols, 2 semi-auto rifles, 1 pump-action shotgun.

I like revolvers more (and S&W revolvers, at that) because. Just because. They look more "classic" (although a good 1911 would certainly be right up there), fit me better, yadda yadda yadda.

I also like bucking the trend--all of my shooting buddies are semi-auto guys, even in competition. I like being that one guy (young guy at that, too--I'm 26 and sometimes I still get mistaken for a college kid) crankin' and yankin' on the line.

My handguns are used entirely for CCW/HD...

Autos are fun to shoot, but since SD is not fun, wheel guns are my choice for reliability reasons.

i own 2 revolvers and 13 semi's. Im in the younger generation though and im starting to grow more appreciation towards the wheel guns. I think im going to pick a SP101

At last count, there were 20 pistols and 18 revolvers plus 1 derringer. The pistols currently out-number the revolvers because my first serious collection activity was for FN/Browning pistols. Lately I have been picking up older S&W revolvers. At some point I guess I will have to start selling some.

5 semi auto

owned a sw 642 and i loved it but it got slashed due to caliber consolidation.

i would love a classic wheel gun like a sw 13/28/66

Half and Half

As a new collector I have two of each.
I prefer the looks of revolvers, but find it seems thats autos are more price friendly with a few exceptions (like a .22 or Nagant)

As a collector, I have always been much more interested in military autos than revolvers, so they outnumber the revolvers substantially. Now, as to the guns that I actually shoot, I would actually have to say that it's about a 50/50 split. At least with the revolvers I don't have to chase brass. LOLLL
