Which CZ75B? Military or Civilian???

Telecote - I don't remember any difference in fit between civie and mils. The civie is long gone now (I have been known to buy, sell and trade guns alot) but I still have the mils.

My CZ mil came from http://pdmall.com/CZC/pistol~1.htm, it was only @329.95 plus shiping. it had the 15 and 10 rounders. I am very pleased with it, the safety is just a positive click in both ways, not mushy or loosy. The grip was hand made in Turkey, has Mother pearl inlays, I don't think is available anymore. The hand made grips by *Hakan* are superb, if you go with a CZ75, you have to get a set of grips made by him. The meggar magazines are better than the factory ones, I got mine from Bradster and I am just another happy customer.

hey carlos-nice picture! those grips look mighty familiar:) i appreciate your kind words on the mec-gar CZ75 mags-anybody who would like to know more about them should check the "for sale/trade > gear & accessories" section of this board, they were listed on 10/19.about a dozen left at this point.

OK,

Question. I have a EAA Witness CZ clone. Love it very much.

have a CZ 75, very good.
The Witness safety can be pressed on with the hammer down and offers cocked and locked carry and can even be loaded with the safety on.
The CZ safety cannot be placed on when the hammer is down but locks the slide and hammer when the gun is cocked.
Were all CZs like this or were first models like Witness? Could the CZ be carried hammer down safety on in first rendition?
Curious.

By the way, went to KFC and had Clinton meal today.

All left wing.

I took my new CZ85 Combat to the range for the first this past weekend. Everything I have read here about them appears to be true. Shooting 120rds of 115gr FMJ Ga Arms reloads reliability was 100%. Accuracy was slightly better than my other CZ75Bs. Mine has the poly finish and the adj sight appears to be robust with positive click adjustments. One click of the elevation put me right on target. Being left handed the ambi controls mean I can carry cocked and locked.
