Which CZ 75 to get?

Which CZ 75?

About a month ago, I visited the local gun shop to buy my first handgun. Planned on buying a Sig or an HK. However, the owner of the shop talked me into buying a CZ instead. I ended up purchasing a CZ-75B Compact PCR for $402 + tax NIB, which was much less expensive than the Sigs or HKs he had in stock.

The PCR fits my hand well, is comfortable with the rubber grips, and is a lot of fun to shoot. The wife even likes shooting it.

Problem is, now I want more! Next purchase will be a CZ-75B SA in 9mm as soon as the dealer gets one in. Have heard nothing but good things about CZ, especially the 75B SA. Has anyone here heard of any problems/concerns with the SA?

Why would you avoid the gloss blue? I was leaning that direction... Blued guns are more attractive than the polycote, but I could see that the bluing might be less durable. Bluing CAN be refinished pretty easily though, the others would be hard to refinish. I don't plan on abusing mine, but still would like to know why others would avoid the blued models in case I'm missing something.

Makarov, the gloss blue doesn't hold up well. It is very light colored and looks transparent. The range I go to has a couple CZ's to rent, a 97 and a 75. The 97 is gloss blue and it's peeling everywhere.

I was going to get a blued Cz85, until they told me blue was $60 more than the polycoat. Get the polycoat and put the $60 towards the .22 Kadet conversion. Had mine at the range for the second time today, the Kadet conversion is COOL! It was the first time my wife shot it, after about 200 rounds of .22 I put the 9mm topend on for her to try. First mag(15rnd.) she put every shot in two inches@7yards. She was impressed(me too).
