The question was which stock out of the box handgun is the most reliable.
To me this means which type gun that you can buy at the average gunshop and take it strait out of the box and expect it to be 100% reliable.
People with a lot of experience with all types of handguns will always tell you the exact same thing.
You are much more likely to get a bad 1911 out of the box than most modern designs such as the Glock, Beretta, Sig,H&K and so on.
Most of the 1911s that are having problems can be fixed easy enough by someone that knows what they are doing but I would hate to have to trust my life to ANY new out of the box 1911.
