Which base/rings to mount Vortex Viper PST on Remington 700 sps

+1 For the EGW Base. My hunting buddy put one on his Remington 700 and I was pretty impressed! Got one for my Tikka T3 and I've been more that satisfied!

Burris Signature Rings again, even my 22LRs have Signature Rings - they never let a scope slip or mar a tube.

I have been using Ken Farrell mounts and rings for my last several builds, most recently a 20 MOA base on an FNH M70 holding down a NightForce. I've found their products to be flawless.

 
I have the same rifle (mostly), and the same scope...

I'm running an EGW 20 minute rail and Burris XTR low rings. It's been rock solid. This yields about 1/4" objective bell clearance. Golf balls at 300 yards with hand loads. No complaints. Base and rings @ Midway USA will set you back $110.
