Mine is not on your list. Although it is called a sub-compact, it is more of a compact in size, weight, and increased capacity.
Springfield XD40 Sub-Compact.

I have experience with that. It's a chunk. 2 lbs loaded, so don't think you'll be able to pocket carry it.

Not a Glock fan and bought my 27 on a whim? I would not give it up except for a new one which I really don't need!
The 27 fits my hand well and was very accurate right out of the box.
Still not a big Glock fan though!;)

I chose the Shield for thinness and comfort of carry...even though my EDC is a full sized M&P. Capacity can be made up for by carrying an extra mag (not to mention that I think an extra mag is always a good idea anyway in case of mag failure/malfunction).

None of the above.

I carry a Walther PPS .40 with flush bottom mag in a pocket holster.

I also use a Limbsaver 12012 rubber grip sleeve and it shoots like a full size 9mm.

Didn't see anything about "pocket carry".
2 oz. lighter than the XD(M) that is on the OP's list.:D

Thanks for the responses.

Thanks for all the replies. I was asking this question for a relative who was asking for my advice and I told I could ask here for him.

Flame suit on.

Do some research on the Taurus 740. This is one they
seem to have gotten right. Very, very, few negative
reviews I've read. Most are highly positive.

Of what you have listed, I'd get the G27.

All the Best,
D. White

I ran into a guy on another board that claimed to be pocket carrying an XD Mod 2 in one leg pocket of his cargo pants, and 3 magazines in a carrier on the other leg pocket.

I held my peace, but I am skeptical.
