This is the second thread trying to help me decide what .22 rifle to get. I have narrowed it down to three different guns from your suggestions, but I do have a question about one.
1. CZ 452 Military Trainer: It is a little over my price range so the wife would not be as happy with me. I do like the feel of it the best and I hear nothing but good about it's quality.
2. Marlin 980: Really good price, drilled and tapped for a scope.
3. Savage Mark II: Decent priced, has the accutrigger, I think it is also drilled and tapped for a scope. Question on this, is the accutrigger worth the extra money versus say the Stevens line?
I plan on using it to really work on my aim, plinking, teaching the kids to shoot.
On a side note, synthetic or wood stock? I like the look of the wood stock but it seems the synthetic seems more durable. What say you? Please vote for one gun and one stock, you should be able to make two choices.
Thank you for your very valued opinions!!!
