Where do you do your gun Research?

I usually ask the questions here. We have a large, diverse, knowledgeable membership which usually have the answers I am looking for.

This is a decent place to ask general, and even some specific questions. However I personally find m4carbine.net to be the most "professional" and experienced crowd to run things by though. Beyond that I'll use youtube to get other opinions and to get a look at the specific model in action.

I like to watch nutnfancy and Military Arms Channel on you tube just to find out about gun stuff in general. I've found though that for me the best thing is to hold a gun in my hands or rent one and take it for a spin.

For a while I was really interested in 1911s, M&Ps, and Glocks. After taking some time to get a feel for them I realized that I really couldn't stand how they fit my hands. Turns out XDs are perfect for me.
