Jwilson48--- I quite agree with your feelings concerning Remington's QC and I also feel the same way about Remington rifles, shotguns, and their products in general. You can't pick up a shooting publication today without seeing a Remington product recall on either their ammo, shotguns, or rifles. I want to believe that Marlin is not really dependent on Remington's manufacturing principals, methods, or business operations and instead more or less operates independently on it's own. I hope this is the case as I would like to see Marlin survive and the X7 series flourish. I hope your X7 venture turns out for you and your rifle shoots as good as the ones I own plus the ones I've sold.
