Where are all the M-1a/ M-14 fans?

Another vote for the S. M1A. I've got the bush variant with the 60s manufacture synthetic stock and 18.5" barrel. This is my "road trip" rifle. She gives me comfort knowing that should anyone try anthing on the lonely Arizona highways or back roads they'll simply faint at the sight of her.

Seriously though, its a good rifle and I don't intend to part with her soon. ;)

The Wife is now a fan of the M1A. Today she asked me, "can we go out shooting maybe Tuesday next week?"
"SSSUUURRRE."

Yet another happy M1A owner. Springfield loaded with McCann mount Mk 4 30mm rings and Tasco SS10X42M. One of the very few guns in my collection that remains permanent.

I'm a fan of the M1A as well. I started with a Springfield "loaded" model, but found that it didn't hit where aimed when using a scope. I sent it back, and while there I called and asked them to upgrade it to a NM model. Almost five months later, I received a National Match, no charge. The even used the mount that I sent them and test fired it with one of their scopes to make sure that it would work before they sent it out. I haven't fired it yet, as I'm neck-deep in load testing with my Highpower AR, bnut when UI get around to it, I'll be happy to shoot the M1A.
