When backup becomes primary...

yesh... a .32 or a .22........ id pick which ever weighs more, so when your done making him mad you can throw the gun at his and actually hurt him!!! lol!!!:D

but seriously... i dont thing i've ever gotten a full mag out of my Walter p22 and had it NOT jam, which is no skin off my nose as its a plinker and allows me the time to practice jam drills...

personally i have no desire for a .32 no mater what data you throw at me. but as I say, E A hua Ula! - wider is better! so i guess i'd go with the .32.

but then my back up is either my PF9 or SP101

for-sure! i have nine 1911s to choose from for carry - three of which are compact/sub-compact. or four 9mm that i could carry, my 5906, CZ RAMI, CZ75, PF9. only one .357 revolver though the sp101 -EDIT make that two! i forgot my model 60 .357! along with various other handguns id sooner carry as a back up than a .32 or .22

-course i carry a North American Arms .22 mouse gun in my pocket everywhere so *shrugs*

P-32 for sure. Easy for me because that's what I use anyway. P-32 is my always BUG; it's in my pocket even when I don't have a true primary with me.
