Doc540:

I have a Smith & Wesson model 625, 45 auto rim that I can shoot the ten ring out of on a twenty-five yard bulls eye target at twent-five yards while standing. I have an NRA master's Classification.

Rep1954, know exactly how you feel, a few months ago at the range I was shooting my Dan Wesson 357max at a 50yd target and acouple of guys came over and started shooting AK47 or SKS 762 rifles at the 200yd gong and missing with all shots. When they stopped to reload their mags, I took aim from my position to the gong and rang it with my last 3 rounds, packed up and left. I had a 6" barrel and open sights on it at the time, I usually use a scoped 8" barrel for any over 50yds, but felt I had to try as they weren't having any luck with their rifles.:D:D:rolleyes:

Here is a few shots from my Taurus Raging Bull 454 at 100 yards while setting the scope.
The fourth shot was almost in the same hole as the third.

To: Capt Rick: Is the RPM gunshop/range still in business on John's Island? Used to shoot there in the 1970s when in the Navy.

RPM...I put a lot of lead into the RPM range in the early 80's, and bought a few guns there too. That was a neat shop.
