What's your jackpot handgun?

I put a long (More than a year) time thinking about buying this gun. In fact, I was going to buy it piece by piece little by little, but hey, now I don't have to do that. Although I won't see the finished product for 5-6 weeks, I'm very happy with my purchase's. I still have $800 on hand. Now, time to buy 10mm ammo.
I am in no way knocking your choice, RH. If you've been thinking about the choice for more than a year, 5-6 weeks doesn't really seem like it's going to make a difference. May it turn out to be every bit as AWESOME as you hope!

Well I would have to hit it big,

I want a never fired colt gi 1911, if I had crazy money maybe a singer 1911 for fun.

Less than 7 digits in winnings I would say a sig p210 and python 3 guns I respect and desire yet simply will not pay current prices for

Well then, we're dreaming.. soooo I'd find and purchase a Colt SAA revolver in the number range of the Little Bighorn battle, a likewise numbered Springfield Cav carbine.

I would buy the most expensive 1911 I could get my hands on......and then shoot and beat the crap out of it. I would of course then document my findings and determine whether or not to buy another one.

Funny you should ask.....

I did (kind of) hit the jackpot last year with my fantasy football team. League pot was right around 1000. I got what was (for me) my dream gun - a new BHP. I was determined to spend it all on one, but talked a LGS down to 550 for it (LNIB, but technically used) which was 580 OTD. SO, I said "dang, I got plenty left over for those spiffy Spiegle grips I always see on good lookin' BHP's". I talked to Mr. Spiegle on the phone and he said he had some "plain" walnut ones he could send me right away - about $50. SO, I did not even get to spend the whole pot on my jackpot gun.....

I am now in position of my Glock 20 SF, now I have to wait for the long slide and the other goodie.

One note, it looks like a Glock, acts like a Glock, sounds like a Glock, must be a Glock.

Not sure I should be ashamed or proud.:D But I like it!:o

Jack pot!

Just hit again. $2350+30. Dropped in $20 cashed out $50+$2350=$2400.

Don't be jealous, you have to pay to play.:D

Time to start modes while they still have the parts on order.

Ahhh I love to daydream....

Dan Wesson V-Bob .45 compact 1911, high polished stainless or nickel, with 100% custom marbled oak cocobolo style grips with an american bald eagle headshot engraved.

I also want the Latin words "Confidimus" engraved on the non-ejection side of the slide. It means TRUST.

Putting it around the $2000-2500 mark

Congrats on the win. The G-20 is a fun gun.

My 'jackpot' gun came after a very good week when I was a hardwood flooring sub-contractor and I came away with a couple grand cash and no bills, so I plunked down $1,400 at my LGS and ordered this:
