Ok, I asked my girl. Here's her idea:
Pink guns aren't "girl guns" they're "guy guns made to by girly"
"girl guns are any gun that's small enough for most girls to shoot."
So, I'm thinking most single stack pistols.

Well, I was told that the .45 is a "Man's gun"

This guy who used to work at Seigel's Guns in Oakland (out of business long ago) sold me my Glock Model 22 (.40) Another trip to the shop and I think he really wanted to sell a gun that day, He kept going on about how a .45 is a real man's gun. His attempts were laughably shallow.

WHAT, STOP THE PRESS, were can I even find a women who actually likes guns, and not just "tollerate"(sp) them. Please tell me were to look.

Anything pink

Me and my 5yo daughter were in Walmart a while back--I was looking over the guns in the spinners---she was glued to the glass counter.

Laying in there(glass counter) was a pink stocked Cricket on closeout--I go,"Do you want one of those?"---the answer was an enthusiastic YES.

Girl Gun: Any gun that you own that, after letting your girlfriend/wife/daughter/niece shoot it, she wants to keep....

Resistance is futile....buy spares.... :D

For universal use by the average female, IMHO, a S&W 642 in the purse or carried makes a nice dependable, accurate DA revolver for a female (or anyone really). Theres no exposed hammer to snag on clothing or purses, ect. They have a slightly heavy (Da will though) trigger, but for carry, thats not a bad thing as long as its not obscenely heavy. My mom's 642 has CT laser grips, and it is just a really awesome gun, I felt so go after we took it to the range and mom can do headshots that were pretty impressive. Shes currently taking an advanced defensive shooting class, and she loves her .38. I do too!! To me, The simplicity, ease (almost lack) of maintenance, and reliability, along with the manageable recoil and good stopping power make it a great gun for a lady to keep with her. I think my Granny's gettin one for Chrismas!
