Idk, of all of them I'd have to say this one. It's getting really hard to find enfields in as good of shape as this one. It was a rack queen in south africa for lend-lease.
Lots of great lookin' rifles!!...
Guess I better get the camera out and decide which is my favorite??? Tough decisions Family heir looms, proven hunters, and fun guns????
Didn't realize there were so many Manlicher owners here I have always loved the look of them. Here's my favorite deer rifle: sporterized Swedish Mauser 6.5x55mm, Manlicher style stock.
My favorite hunting rifle Remington 700 BDL 7mm Rem Mag,HS Precision stock with aluminum bedding, topped off with a Leupold 4.5-14x50mm w/30mm tube and lit reticle scope. In nearly 20 years of hunting with this rifle countless numbers of whitetail and coyotes along with 2 elk have been taken.
Dad use to joke around that I must be shooting heat seeking bullets cause it never missed, couple years back this rifle took a doe and nice buck 500 yards out in a cornfield from a "in field kneeling position".
I think those Noslers must be heat seeking bullets
This is one I just recently bought back from a buddy out west--B78 in 45-70,gonna need it for those pigs in Louisiana when we get moved down there----
Single shot, exposed hammer in a primitive caliber--perfect---John
