I chose the 28ga. I use it for everything but speeding doves.

try finding 28 or 410 in a pinch

Walmart carries plenty of both.

IMO, I believe it is THE gauge, especially for speeding doves......when built on a larger 20 frame.....

12 ga is the BEST for me. It's just a great all around round.
