What's your favorite "fun" gun/caliber?

Anything in .357 magnum.

I just discovered firing both my .357 N-frame's at the same time is a real hoot.

Video coming soon.

Just for fun would be:
in handgun my Ruger MK II. I never get tired of shooting this one!
in rifle my scoped Ruger 10/22
Caliber of course .22lr

Sorry to hear about your Beretta problems. I have an older Beretta 950 BS 25ACP that has yet to give me any problems. Hope that you can work out the kinks in that 21A!

Since you're talking about fun to shoot and not inexpensive I'd have to say my Colt 1903 hammerless in .32ACP. I just really enjoy shooting the pistol. It looks great, shoots great and is a conversation piece whenever I take it out of the range bag. I have two. One is a safe queen due to its condition and value (1926). the other is a shooter that is 103 years old and still works like a champ (1905). They are things of beauty.

..for pure fun I like the Browning Buck Mark 22LR.This weapon is accurate and is serious about getting the job done. You can have tons or fun and still put 10 rounds in the bullseye with no effort..possibly the best 22LR semi-auto made.:D

shooting 38 specials through my S&W Model 28 .357 or 45ACP through my S&W 625 JM.
But heck any of em are fun. My 1911's are a blast too.

"What's your favorite "fun" gun/caliber?"

Just one? I guess that would be my Beretta 87 Cheetah, .22LR. Lots of fun, and cheap to shoot. Nothing beats a good .22 for fun. Probably explains why I have a bunch of them. :)

For serious range fun it's hard to beat a semi-auto .22lr. Any semi-auto .22lr will do. Rifle or pistol, either one -- or both!

My S&W 422 and a brick of ammo. Load magazines till my thumb gives out. What a stress reliever.
That's what I've got. BTW -- there's a trick to loading those magazines that doesn't involve wearing out the thumb. You can pull the follower down and just drop the rounds in instead of pushing the rounds in like most magazines.

A toss up

Usually an old Colt Officers Model Target with 7 1/2" barrel. A close second is a Woodsman.

I don't wear my fingers out loading either one. And thanks to 1200 pounds of free lead from several years back I can almost shoot either one for the same cost.

Anschutz Exemplar .22LR with 1,5-4x20 Hakko pistol scope in summer. In Winter T/C G2 .357 Rem Maximum with 4x Redfield pistol scope, because need gloves. Also 9,3x57 Mauser with original iron sights...Dan Wesson .357 Super Mag.....or..
