If you are in Kali, you are stuck for getting high-caps so you might as well use the smaller diameter of the 9x19mm cartridge to get some concealability. Glock 26.
If you're just going to dick around with it at the range, why don't you consider a shooter Luger for about $350? I guarantee it will put a grin on your face and you will never see craftsmanship like that in anything produced lately.
I own a Nazi P-35 High Power, Glock 17, Glock 19, Luger, P-38, Chinese Torarev in 9mm, 2 Springfield 1911A-1 9mms and my all time favorite shooter/carry gun in 9mm is the Glock 19.
Up to $350 the CZ-75 is a natural born 9 mm w/o competition.
Above $425, Glocks and Berettas come into play. I would still choose CZ over these brands, although I have respect for those.
I think Oris said what I would say. Based on my limited experience anyone that would recommend a $300 ruger/used glock has never spent much time behind a CZ. -ddt
The world standard for Accuracy , balance, workmanship and of course beauty is the Browning High Power. If high capacity is not a concern or if your hands do not fit the fat grip of the high capacities the Sig Neuhausen P210 (no relation to the high tech sheet metal Sig-Sour's) is probably the most accurate out of the box 9mm ever made. Definitely worth the money and often cheaper than a custom built 1911 and often shoots better. Shoot a Sig Neuhausen or Browning High power and you will never want any other 9mm.
If money is a problem by all means try out the Cz 9mm's. They are very accurate pistols. W.R.
