What's your choice for the Top 4 pistol companies ??

Assuming $$$ is not an issue...

1)TIE. Wilson Combat & Les Baer. Both make an exceptional weapon.

2) Sig Sauer. Great out of the box! Sig "Pro" needs to go away though IMHO.

3) Heckler and Koch. Very innovative designs. There P7M8 is an extremely high quality weapon, which is reflected in its price. Though I do not have a fondness for polymer weapons I believe that there USP series of weapons, though slightly over priced, are the best "polymer" pistols on the market.

4)If your going to spend the $$$, What else is there.

P.S. I do like "wheel guns too!" The S&W 686 and the now discontinued COLT Python Elite, both .357 magnums are two weapons I wish I owned...

Lets go stock production, ie, more than 20,000 units produced in one year. That leaves out customs like Wilson and Baer.
1) Glock
2) Sig
3) Betetta
4) H&K

Having shot all of these weapons in competitive matches, this is my opinion. I hope to see a Ruger auto finish a match someday so it could rate.

1. Sig
2. Glock
3. Beretta
4. Lorcin (HK was VERY close here, but if I HAD to pick between the two... :D )

The sig pro is the best sig of the bunch. It won't crack its frame after a case of ammo.

355sigfan,

I've put "MORE" than a case (assuming you mean 500rds.) in every SIG I have ever owned without a hitch. So I will just assume you are being fascitious.

I was being a pud. It was just in response to someone else being a pud. All my standard sigs have done ok. But it is true that alluminum framed sigs have a shorter service life (from 20000 to 50000 at best) than polimer guns which last nearly forever.
