Whats this talk about SIGS being rust buckets??

I really liked the feel and accuracy of my old Sig P220 and P226. But their finishes didn't withstand even a little holster activity.

Edges wore down fast exposing metal and little rust spots kept trying to appear. I kept wiping them with Rem Oil but it didn't matter. Its wet in Seattle but not hot nor humid so rust is not a problem.

Sold the Sigs and bought Glocks.

Polymer and tenifer don't rust!

LEO and Military users of the sig will see rust on the older non stainless models because such use is much more demanding than a casual civilian user that only shoots once a week or so and the rest of the time the gun is in the safe of in a concealment rig protected from the elements.
