whats my handgun arsenal lacking?

Looks to me you need a Taurus raging judge magnum. 410 shotshell 45 long colt and of course a 454 casull all in one. I'd do the 6 inch.

QUALITY OVER QUANTITY

I agree with this 100%.... Personally I would have passed on all those Taurus pistols and revolvers and gotten 2 quality guns. YMMV and clearly does.

That said I see a few holes

HK P7
Anything in 9mm MAK.
Beretta
A Real Browning HI Power
Sig P226
Sig P228
CZ 75B

There was a time I wanted to buy more more and more now I want to buy right right right... I would rather buy one great gun vs 3 avg ones. There is only so much room in the safe. :) Again YMMV

Once you get all your "needs" taken care of like you have, it's time to concentrate on quality. Go for a semi-custom 1911 like a Les Baer or Ed Brown.

Since you shoot 45 for plinking, above all others is a S&W N-frame 45 acp. Load up a bunch of moonclips and go into a plinkers bliss.

I say everyone should own a least one 1911 and a least one 45 acp revolver. 45 acp is the key here. What a great round for plinking.

You need more quality handguns in your list -- Colt Pythons, Colt SAA, Colt 1911's, Beretta 92's, Browning Hi Powers, HK's, Walthers, S&W revolvers.

IMO, you've got too many Keltecs, Tauruses, Kimbers, Rugers, Sigmas, RIAs, etc.

That's truly no slam intended against you, but I honestly do believe that quality counts more than quantity.

Just my two cents, good luck with your collection.

There's a pretty sweet Star 9mm at my LGS that would fit what you are looking for. Maybe a 39-2? Something from FNH?

A CZ would work, as would a real HP.

A Python should be in everyone's collection. Would go great with your other Colts.

Really? You're kidding right?

Nice collection, once I get the guns I always wanted or other good guns for CCW I really dont want more handguns, same with rifles. More cleaning etc... I don't see myself ever buying 10 different 1911 models, or Kahr brand. Not interested in these guns. A few guns that I like in each calliber is enough.

I don't see myself or wanting to buy 41 magnum, 32 h&r etc... 327 ...

The guns I really like to shoot just buy another one so I can shoot it and have a carry gun.

How about a Korth?

A Python would suffice to bring the total quality up considerably and at a more reasonable price. As would a S&W registered Magnum revolver.

I honestly miss a nice .22 in the accumulation of handguns. A S&W K22 or M41 would fill the niche nicely.

The M75 was mentioned before and it is a lot of gun for the money:

And while I am no collector, but a shooter, I hope to have given some of you here a few ideas for upgrades to their armoury.

Oh, here is another one that upgrades most collections, a S&W M19 with a classic 310 tool that I had started out reloading with.

I also do not find the surplus military pistols in the list that are a bargain in today's market, and while I am not overly fond of them, I keep one for sentimental reasons.
