What's in your pocket? - Pocket holster thread

I've been using a custom pocket holster, made by Rob at Simply Rugged, for a few months now and thought I'd share it with you folks and maybe see what you all are using.

This holster is based on Rob's pocket protector design for the sp101, but the leather is rough side out. Additionally it has a removable leather "blocker" that does a really great job of preventing the cylinder and barrel from printing. The last piece of customization I did, which is to cut the stitching by the muzzle so that the gun rides lower in the holster. This drops the carry height down by almost an inch.

I'm still shopping for a pocket holster for my P238. I'm thinking of a DeSantis Nemisis, though. The one thing that I keep wondering about is how well they stay in your pocket when you pull the gun. How well does your stay put?

My favorites are the old Jerry Ahern Pocket Natural for revolvers and Pocket Plus for the small or medium autos. As these are no longer made, I use the Robert Mika pocket holsters for new needs.

Scoots, the holster stays absolutely in place while drawing. The inside is super smooth so the gun just slides out. Plus, the outside is real grippy and pretty well squared off making very stable.

Or not!

The DeSantis Superfly. Like 2cooltoolz's Nemesis, but with the Velcro attached
fly for back pocket if you choose, or remove it for front pocket.

Front pocket, Uncle Mike's #1, good for cargo shorts...

or back? DeSantis Trickster, great for dressier pants and jeans...

Both of these work great, the Trickster isn't "sticky" like many pocket holsters but when drawing the pistol the edge of the holster gets caught under the seam that runs across the top of your pants pocket and the gun slides right out. This holster was very tight when I first got it but I wrapped the gun in a couple layers of wax paper, forced it down into the holster and it expanded a bit and took the proper shape.

My LCP is in a simple suede (I think) leather pocket holster (rough side out) I picked up at a gun show. Works quite well for me.
