What's all this about Shiner Bock?

Yeehaw!

As a San Antonian whose been to Spoetzl in Shiner, I love the beer, still drink it regularly. I am, however, going to whine for a moment, and say that popularization among all you "furriners" has more than doubled the price I pay for it here in the last several years. :( I used to use Sam Adams as a benchmark, now I can sometimes get SA cheaper!

I also feel that, although still an exceptional brew, the quality has declined marginally in the last ten years, presumably due to increased production?

Oh, well. Still an exceptional representation of the good things from Texas.

Enjoy y'all! :D
