What you want for Christmas?

Got a Nikon D3100, no guns this year for me. Oh well, the past 2 Christmases were firearm ones. Just passed on a gorgeous Mossberg 151M at a gun show a few days ago, and almost cried. $250, and I couldn't even pick that up. Sometimes being retired sucks.

My 7WSM with Ruger action, custom made comp stock, and Lilja stainless barrel to be ready. And maybe Santa can pay for it too :D

I bought myself a reloading kit and some dies while I was on leave over Thanksgiving. Finally getting into handloading, I'm excited.
 
I want an official Red Ryder, carbine action, two-hundred shot range model air rifle!

I'll settle for a Vortex SPARC, though...
 
I enjoy giving.

I gave my Wife a New Wedding Ring, its beautifull and brought tears to her eyes. Unforutnately I need to get it resized. I gave my Father in Law, a very nice Henry .22. He was also very happy, as he is a Lover of the Rimfire.
The children got nice gifts, but I got the greatest present of all.
My Wife had an old picture of my favorite Coonhound, Chester, in all of his former Glory Treed years ago, Painted, and preserved as a part of my History.
Its a great painting, and I will post a picture of it when I can.
The painting, means alot to me, and I will cherish it for all time.

Chester was everthing a great Hound should be, he is still alive, but very old and it saddens me that one day, he will leave me.:( But now his legacy will remain for all time. Merry Christmas.

I have hunted many a Winter Night with this great Hound, and my old Winchester Pump .22 The painting I hope will become a Family Heirloom.:)

Very cool gifts. I got a new cell phone and THIS!! I know it's not the best but is exactly the one I wanted for use 3-4 times a year. I have no idea how daughter and wife knew I even wanted one much less this one. I looked through it and was reading license plates on cars 500 yards away. First Christmas where I actual got what I wanted and my wife wanted a puppy and a stove and she got both. Hope everyone else did well also and Merry X-mas and Happy New Year to all of you! :)

I am a giver too

I enjoy seeing the faces light up once the presents are opened. ndking, I hope your face shames the sun when you see your family again, Merry Christmas and stay safe.

Now, I got my wish early this morning when my daughter opened her brand new Trifecta in .22/.243/20ga combination. She thought she had everything that she'd want until that moment. That is something I'll take with me to the hereafter.

I recieved my present a few days ago from my son, noise cancelling headphones and I bought myself a Ruger black SR40!
Today, I gave my son a 20 gauge shotgun and my grandson a .22 Youth model Crikett.

Life is good!!!
