My first firearm was a Ruger 10/22 I got as a Christmas gift in 6th or 7th grade. Didn't go all-out on modifying it like some do, just kept it simple and put a 3-9x scope on it, been using it down some tree vermin ever since. The 10/22 always gets my vote when somebody asks me my opinion for the first gun they should get for their son or daughter.

Daisy BB gun. Model 25 I think it was. It cocked with a slide.

My first real gun was a J.C.Higgins 410 single shot that my Dad bought. He came home one day with two of them. One for my Brother and one for me.

My first was a Crossman 760 BB/pellet rifle. Then a Glock 22. I grew up in a family that never touched guns of any kind. The Crossman was hidden in a secret location out in the woods for me and my friends to use whenever we got together after school or on weekends. I loved that 10 pumper. :)

Glenfield 25, .22lr.

My first .22 rifle, the Gelnfield Model 25.

Savage .410 single shot, first shotgun and a H&R Model 9-- something (Forgot) was my first .22 pistol.

Yeap, I was very deadly with each one as a teenager....:)

1st "firearm" was a Benjamin .177 pellet pistol.
1st "real firearm" was an unknown make single shot .22LR rifle, followed closely by an unknown make single shot 20ga shotgun. I still have the shotgun at my parent's place in Texas. I plan on picking it up one of these days.
First handgun was a 1976 Ruger Mark 1 (Centennial edition). This one is currently in my safe. :)

My Dad got me a Marlin 81DL for my 10th Christmas (68 years ago). I still have it, I still shoot it every year and everytime I see it, touch it, shoot it, clean it I think of my Dad and what a loving and wonderful man he was. I learned to shoot at his knee, I learned what was right, what was wrong, that your word is your bond, that a reputation as a good, honest man will always serve you well. Thanks, Pop! I sure miss you!

I still have it, and it's still just as good a shooter as the day I bought it.

The picture makes it look blued, but it's actually stainless steel.

Single shot 20 gage I got when I was 12, 42 years ago.
I had to stop using it because it became unsafe. It would go off if dropped on it's butt.
I can't remember the brand. I think it might still be stored in my mothers garage but I'm not sure.

My first gun was a Crossman 177. It was a 10 pump .177 cal BB/pellet gun. My first "real" gun was an Iver Johnson single shot 20 gauge. It's downstairs in my safe. I'll post pics later.

My first gun was a Crosman pump pellet rifle that my dad had as a kid. In 1985 I bought a new Browning Buckmark .22 pistol that I still have, and shoot.
