Anything with history! By that I mean a battle scarred Enfield. The old 32 auto Savage my Grandfather used to carry down to the City way back when. Or a replica Brown Bess. Or a 1911. Or the little single shot 22 my father shot as a little boy.

This has me wondering. Will anyone, 50-100 years from now look at a Glock 19 or a Berreta M9 the way they look at a 1911 or a SA Army? How about a AR-15/ M-16 compared to a Garand or a 1903 Springfield?

i like the one where the boo-lits come out of the round pipe thing. but in all seriousness i cant choose in the given list.

Im with the milsurp crowd on this one. my M1 Garand, 1911 and my K98 are my adopted children :)

I gotta go with a nice over/under shotgun. Don't get me wrong I love my other firearms (M1A is at the top of the list) but I grew up shooting skeet and pheasant hunting here in Kansas. Hard for me not to appreciate the craftsmanship that goes into a Beretta 682 or Browning Citori.

I kept looking for the option:

O The kind that goes "Bang"

Couldn't find it.

Admittedly, . . . I'm just a gun junkie, . . . lever, bolt, trombone, single shot, scattergun, Ma Deuce or M60, . . . heck, if I could afford it, . . . I'd have a quad 50 on wheels.

My parents bought an old farm house when I was 8, . . . we found a rolling block (probably 45-70) old rifle, . . . dry fired it till I broke the hammer spring, . . . step dad got rid of it.

Too late, . . . I was hooked, . . . been that way ever since. Just like guns.

And, yeah, . . . the total kill of all my guns is less than the Teddy Kennedy cars.

May God bless,
Dwight

I voted Semi-auto...but there's a caveat. If Colt ever decided to produce Pythons again (not bloody likely) I'd be more excited about that, than anything else. That gun is probably on the top of my "Guns to Own" bucket list.
