For real. You actually measure your primer depth. Wow. I've been reloading for over 30 years. I've never, ever measured anything on any case I have reloaded. And I have reloaded a lot. Thousands of rounds. Handgun, rifle, and shotgun. Didn't even know there was an instrument to measure primer depth. And all my rounds went BANG. I'm just an old school reloader I guess. Honestly if you just seat the primer it should be fine. With time, practice, and hundreds of rounds you reload, you will know when a primer seats right. You can feel it.
