I believe so. When I told him I would post the info, he said to tell you it's worth about $1k. I was kind of surprised as well.

According to the page that Jim linked to, it was designed by a fellow named Johann L. Werder, hence the name. It says there that it was based on the Peabody, which was designed by Henry O. Peabody.
