As they say...
"the best laid plans of mice and men often go awry"...
No hunting for me this week. Illnesses, appointments, and miscellaneous obligations got in the way.
And, as of today (12/1), muzzle loader elk season is officially open.
So, the primary will now officially be a .54 cal cap lock, stoked with 230 gr round balls and 73 gr of black powder.
But, I can still try to figure out what to take as a side-arm...
However, I'm off for a vacation in Appalachian NC for a bit, so I'll worry about firearm choice when I get back.
