what shotgun should I get?

you get what you pay for truebrit. a nice shotgun will be enjoyed by your great grandchildren and a cheep shotgun will never be enjoyed.

A shotgun needs to be more than a stock and a barrel. It needs to be dynamic, fluid, balanced and pointable. The Beretta 391 fits. The Mosberg may be a fine home defense gun, but it isn't in the same league as the Beretta as a clay target or bird gun.

Another Vote for a 20 Semi

I would echo those opinions about using a 20 gauge Semi-Auto, especially one that is gas-operated.

I don't like recoil at all and have found a 20 gauge gives me some flexibility with hunting and target shooting, without punishing me. I am doing some research right now because I too am wanting another shotgun. Have narrowed mine down to the Beretta semi-autos. Now I just have to decide on which model...they have some really nice ones out there.
