What rifle do you want next?

A .223 in bullpup configuration. I haven't decided which one. Too bad the Bushmaster bullpup is so ugly.

So many guns to buy, so litle room in the safe

I can easily sneak another gun past my better 1/3. But she'd notice another safe. And I'll probably have to wait until the spring thaw before the movers could get a safe around to the basement door (there's about a foot of snow on the ground...).

And then there's the IRS to pay. Poop.

First, I want to make my final decision on rebarreling my Sako from .30-06 to 6mm-06 and get it done.

Then, I want to find a clean Kimber 82C.

Then I want something unusual in .338-06 or .35 Whelen.

Then I will be happy until I have my next idea, which will probably involve a heavy-barreled sporter in .22 PPC. Hmmm...may as well just make that the fourth item on my list.

echo3mike, I hope that pre-ban AR-15 upper you're dreaming of sits atop a pre-ban lower! ;)

Well,

I have a pre-64 Mod 70 action I got when my dad passed away. I had the whole rifle but didn't like the stock or the 300H&H caliber so I sold the parts. In a couple years I'll have a local guy who does GREAT work build me a 375H&H or 375 Ultra Mag on that action. I still think of it as Dad's gun. :-)

That, and maybe another Marlin 1894P.

A Quigley Sharps in 45-110. Now that's fun! Any of you guys that want a National Match M1A can help me get my gun by buying the NM I have for sale that you want. Below is the ad:

For sale: Springfield Armory National Match M1A rifle, almost like new condition with the box and all paperwork that came with the rifle. NOT a "Loaded" version but an actual National Match that offers incredible competition performance with features such as air gauged national match medium weight barrel, custom match grade op-rod and recoil spring guides, national match gas system assembly, national match front sight, national match hooded rear sight assembly, national match trigger assembly and flash suppressor. Custom glass bedded in a match grade American walnut stock. Rifle has been fired about 3 occasions with a total of about 60 rounds. At 200 yards I was able to put 3 rounds into a 1 3/4" group so you can tell the rifle is accurate. I purchased just the rifle last year for about $1725. I haven't seen them around now for less than $1850 and Springfield lists the retail price for $1995. Along with the rifle you get a 10rd SA magazine that came with the rifle, 2 GI issue 20 round magazines(about $50/ea now), 2 aftermarket 20 round mags with a case(about $30), Gas cylinder wrench($8), Gas system decarbonizing tool($24), Dewey Nylon muzzle guide($5), a combination tool and a receiver insert to hold bolt open during cleaning and to stop cleaning solvents from getting into the reciever. Also a Tasco Armored 3-9x scope with rings but NO mount. Pretty much everything you'll need for the rifle but ammo. The reason I'm selling is because I never use the rifle and I'm more of a bolt gun man who bought this rifle on a whim. The price is $1625. I will pay to have my FFL ship to your FFL. Pictures available. Please reply to firestud42@aol.com. Thanks, Rob.

I'm eyeing a short barrelled Ruger in 30.06 with the full length international stocks, an 18" barrel. I'm a little concerned about losing velocity and long-range accuracy, but it sure is easy to handle and beautiful to look at.

Springfield M1A Scout

DS Arms FAL Carbine

To add to the four AR-15s of various configs, Remington LTR and Ruger 10/22 already in the safe, would be very nice...

This one is almost to easy.....

unobtainable one:(: Accuracy International AW50 (.50BMG)

at least for now.....but someday it will come home to Papa.:D

Lets See...

If I had three grand laying around, I would probably spring for a Tango 51 in .308 from Tactical Ops. Guaranteed .25 MOA out of the box. Hard to beat if you are looking for extra long range accuracy.

Just got it, a Fulton Armory Garand.
