What Marines Do While On Leave

Looks like a fun day with your son. Tell them both for me, thank you for your service.
Oh, and I can tell from the pic, your son is right minded! ;)

I don't know what's up with the insulting, negative comments. No excuse for such vulgar behavior. A whole 14 posts and he wants to take on the forum? Who has the "baddass attitude" here?

As for the guys at the range, I'm sure they are enjoying the fact that the targets aren't shooting back for once. Thank them for their service.

I am always proud of the men and women who are willing to risk their lives and their futures in the cause of freedom. I am frequently ashamed of what other people do with that freedom.

What I noticed about the picture...

What I noticed about the picture was how young those Marines look. Good Lord was I ever that young?

They have that "I'm looking forward to the rest of life - bring it on!" look. (Or maybe it's "Get out of my way!").

Our country asks a great deal of it's citizens to answer the call of duty. Our best, brightest and finest answer that call.

Thank them both for their service and thanks to their families for the sacrifices that they endure as well.

Good to see a couple of young kids having fun! :)

I guess that if I were to play "critique the shooter", I'd mildly suggest leaning into the gun, for better recoil control. Then again, I'd maybe stay with a zipped lip.

Seems to me that in the modified Weaver, the strong-side arm serves rather like the stock of a rifle and aids in control of recoil. The location of the feet is excellent if the shooter needs to practice being elsewhere instead of just standing in place. Like unto a boxer. Granted, I'm thirty years beyond active IPSC competition. :D
