Hi from england.
What makrs a good gun.
1. one the shoots striaght(so the owner does not blame gun for poor shots)
2.good value for money.
3.parts available and add ons ie rails,scope rings etc
4.good customer reviews(bare in mind some people like different things)
5.a model that has been tryed and tested, one that the forces use.
6.long standing model which has not been altered only updated in looks.
hope this adds to other comments and stands you in good steed.

It works everytime and shoots strait.
Now remember, 'What Makes a Good Gun' is not saying what makes a good gun for any specific purpose!
It's just a good gun is very reliable and shoots good.
