What kind of gun did Charles Bronsen use in Death Wish?

The Sequals were pretty bad

but the original was okay. Haven't seen it in years, but I'll always remember when he hit that bad guy with the roll of quarters in a sock and money went every where. Man that had to hurt.

The Mechanic is okay. I like it at the end when Bronson is murdered by his protege played by Jan Michael Vincent (TV's Airwolf). You think the kid is going to get away with it until he gets into his car and reads the note left to him by Bronson. The car promptly explodes and the end credits run. Cool.

Oh by the way Mechanic is an old slang word for a professional killer. Just in case somebody has an attack of the smart*** and asks why anyone would make a movie about two car mecahnics killing each other. Just thought I better get that out there.

My favorite Bronson movie of them all was "Hard Times" with James Coburn and the great, as usual, Strother Martin.

"In my second year, a black cloud appeared on campus..... I left under it".

Me, too.
I liked the character 'Detroit'...hard to beat, but Bronson did it.
His weapon of choice in this movie? his fists. :D
