Ive got a Maddi-Griffen. As a matter of fact, .30 caliber bullets start coming apart arounf 4600 FPS. By way of the muzzelbreak, the .50 is quite comfortable to shoot. I put 70 rounds through mine the first time I fired it. The muzzleblast is quite horendous to those watching from behind you as the jets on my break are at 45 degrees,it will make your sinuses break loose. The only disadvantage to the .50 is it cost anywhere from 1.50 to 3 dollars a round to shoot. After shooting it though, my .300 seems kinda wimpish.
