What is your primary concealed carry gun?

My main carry is an HK45CT .45ACP with the Crimson Trace Laserguard. I use Double Tap 160 gr. +P ammo Barnes X bullet for social work.

The one handgun thats allways with me is a S&W 638-3 airweight loaded with 135gr +P Gold Dot "short barrel"
(as used by NYPD) in a Kramer horsehide front pocket holster.
+ 2 speedstrips of spare ammo.

Primary carry

I will list both primary and secondary since I am fickle.
Primary: HK P7 in Safariland holster. (9mm 147 gr. +P HP)
Secondary: S&W M-64 3", in a Jackass high ride. (PMC 66gr Tubular +P)

I am compelled to add that, no matter which I carry there is always a Sig P238, (GDHP 90 gr.) in my trousers pocket. I am paranoid about being ready. In 40 years of carry I have heard, and seen, all of the nightmares about not being ready.

Depends, no not the diapers, yet anyway.

On the Farm, one of my Blackhawks in .45 Colt or .41 Mag, filled with Keith style casts from Leadhead in the appropriate weight. Or a 1911 stoked with CorBons, 200gr. @1050fps. at the moment.
In town, 340pd. with 125gr. Speers over enough powder to get them going @1170fps., yeah, yeah, I know, handloads will get you thrown into jail:rolleyes:.
I hope to have a little 1911 at some point for "town carry".
I am suprised to see all the PM7's here. Great carry option. My local Gander has a bunch from what looks like a Police purchase. They are asking $399, and if I were not so broke right now, believe you me, I would have one!:D
I need some of you guys to tell me how to pack one of my full size 1911's in warm weather, because that would be my first option. What the right rig is, where to pack it when I am wearing a summer shirt, etc. But that is for another thread.
A lot of good solutions from the posters here.

I lean towards two different set-ups I'll explain both. I'll carry a Sig 1911 Carry with a spare mag because the 1911 is still a nice skinny frame that's easy to hide just about anywhere on you waistline. But if I'm going somewhere I expect might be a little nastier area then I switch it up a bit.

I'll take a Glock 19 IWB at 2 o'clock, with a spare mag at 10 o'clock, AND a Glock 26 on my inner ankle on my non firing side. This way if I'm in a position where I can't get to my 19 I can usually get to the 26, and if that does happen I can still reload with the same spare magazine I already have on me.

My carry

My 95% EDC is a walther PPS in .40
When the feeling strikes me a HK P7M8

I need to qualify with my FN 5.7, sig P6, and Ruger sp101 before I can carry.

WOW! Am I the only guy in here that likes to carry the Beretta 92FS? Well, I do admit that with the Crimson Trace laser grips, you need to have a bigger hefty hand to carry it and handle it.

Primary carry...

My primary daily carry weapon is my Rossi 462 .357 snubbie in a Don Hume belt slide holster with two Bianchi speed strips in an Accumold pouch.

Formerly a Sig p239 in .40, or my perfectly worn in, yet still tight, Kimber Custom II.
Now I'm dabbling on the Dark Side with a Gen 4 G26 (I had a Gen 3. Liked it. I like the Gen4 even more.)
The 1911 still gets carried as well. Even with a 5" barrel, a 1911 just works in an IWB.

Im taking the class in a week. But my carry gun will primarily be a Sig p226 357 sig.

I just understand the performance difference of a full sized pistol. If God forbid I ever have to use it I am going to be very glad I had a full-sized.

Not raggin' on you at all, as I love shooting my Dad's 226 e2 and the 226 was the pistol I learned to love shooting with, but as a person that has been through all the situations and, more importantly, the positions that one finds himself in while carrying, you might find yourself without a weapon much of the time. Maybe I'm wrong. Maybe the 226 is your one pistol and you want to be a "one gun guy." The thing is, once you actually get into the reality of carrying, that 226 is not a very good ccw pistol. Sometimes, sure, but you have to be dressed right and if you are IWb'ing it at 4'o' clock, sitting in the car is gonna take practice.
How are you planning on concealing it? IWB, OWB, shoulder, etc?

Karh PM9 in the front pocket carry. I used to carry a LCP but when I shot the PM9 I fell in love with it. Its a very accurate and smooth shooting piece.

I've been carrying a S&W 908 sub 9mm but I also carry from time to time a Ross 44 spl.
If I know I will be in a bad area I will carry both.

Of late I am thinking of going to a 45acp compact single stack. Oh so many choices!;)
