what is your prettiest rifle

Monkeyleg you didn't!

My favorite is a Sig Sauer 202 in 30-06. Beautiful bluing, fantastic wood and the smoothest bolt I have ever worked. The trigger is the best out of the box you will find in a mass produced hunting rifle.

This gun was originally sold as the colt Sauer. Now had been redesigned as the Sig Sauer 202.

Mine has a Leupold 3X9, wish I had a Schmidt & Bender but I had to make concessions somewhere:cool:

I want a magnum 202 next:D

Geoff Ross

BTW this gun has the ability to change calibers by removing the barrel. Has several choices, mostly calibers built around the 30-06 (270, 25-06 308 etc)

I'd have to say it is my "Kar 98" German Mauser, re-barreled in 280 Express, and fit with a Timmeny Trigger, and a Biueller safety, and a Fajen Sporter stock, ordered in walnut, with rosewood grip, butt, and forend "in the rough" with 20 lpi-hand cut checkering, and 200+ coats of hand-applied tung-oil finish, and topped with a Williams 1 piece mount, and a Sheperd Scope...

I did all the work, (except the barrel) myself, and it came out PERFECT!

Yugoslavian M48, Cherry red stock, Almost all blueing, Only fired 20rounds. It is a beaut with the bayonet on. Took a while getting all the cosmoline out of the stock. My most beautiful gun Wait, what about my Savage 110 .270win topped with a Tasco SPL41242 4-12X42mm:confused: Hard to pick. Those are my only beautiful guns:(

I love the looks of my HK-91. ;)

StratfordHoldings,
Does that thumbhole stock keep you from committing crimes with that thing? Or is it morality that does it? :D

My Remington Model 700 VLS (Varmint Laminated Stock), heavy barrel, w/4-12X Bushnell is a cutie.....

But, since form follows function, ALL of my toys are pretty!!

Regards!
