What Is Your LEAST favorite Smith & Wesson "modern day" handgun?

Dan,

Any Sigma.
I think the people at Glock are still chuckling and shaking their heads, even after all these years.

I go along with those who say "Any current revolver". Round butts, rubber grips and now I hear a rumor of no more blue steel. I'm trying to track down the rumor and e-mailed S&W, but so far no reply.
I dearly love the S&W revolver, but these folks certianly have forgotten where they came from. :(

Any S&W auto. I have never fired one or have even SEEN one that on a consistant basis was reliable. After being around several law enforcement agencies that carry S&W autos all of the line guys who carry them want to be rid of them with good reason. S&W autos are crap. S&W knows it too or they wouldnt have tried to copy the glock. So even now if S&W makes a great auto it is my opinion that they will be a long time in getting back LE customers.

Smith Third Gen autos have never given me any problem and although I have had a couple problems with Smith revolvers I still like them better than Ruger or Taurus. I would say the biggest turd in the Smith lineup is the Sigma in general and the Sigma 380 in particular.

hey ...i hear their bicycles are really bitchin...bikes please ...hot item here ..glock to start makin bath room fixtures.i hear the 'super flush G80 is a cyclone ...beretta 470 years and still makin just guns...i'll stick

I have tried 2 different Sigmas....a 40 S&W and a 357 SIG.....both sucked! No accuracy at all and the sights were way off.

The mostly aluminum revolvers are the pits, but the stainless steel RB J & K frame revolvers are the only handguns I really like, or buy and keep. When I worked patrol for any department that allowed me to choose the handgun I would carry, my choice was always a S&W stainless RB, and they never ever failed me.

I say the 4506 ,it started out as a tackdriver when i first got the gun but by the time i put 300 rounds through that one it couldnt hit the broadside of a barn i got rid of it real quick and bought a real gun the Para Ordinance P14.

Any and all semi-auto models, because: (1) they're ugly; (2) I don't like the way they "clank" when dry-fired, and; (3) they don't point well (naturally) in my hands. 1 & 2 are purely subjective, but #3 carries LOTS of weight.

I still think that S&W makes the best DA revovlers in the world, bar none.
