what is your favorite bolt action 308?

Interesting .308 there Levelhead.

My favorite is my Swedish Mauser 6.5x55mm. Oh wait, you said .308! Sorry. I meant to say my Remington 700 VS with Leupold 6.5-20x50mm Long Range Target Scope and a HS Precision PRT 25 Stock. I know you guys are tired of seeing this picture, but here it anyways.

Remington Mod 600 carbine

I know it's an antique with a production life as short as it's little barrel, but it's my favorite .308:)
Very light and handy, and if the bullet dosen't kill what you shoot at, the muzzelblast will!:D

Browning BLR leveraction, ops, you said favorite not best, oh well it is my favorite also. I know it is a leveraction but I think it is a far better choice for me.:)

I look forward to saying it's my Ed Brown Savanna Model 702, left-handed bolt with a Swaroviski Habicht AV 4-12x50mm scope. I ordered it last month and Brown said it left his shop today. I should have it by Friday :)

Winchester Model 70 Classic Stainless .308 with Leupold 1.75-6 x 32 E in Warne QD rings on Warne's Peep Bases...

Took awhile to get it all together, but it is sweet!

Remington 700PSS with Badger Ordnance rings and Picatinny base holding Leupold Vari-X III 3.5-10X40LR M3, Turner Saddlry sling, Harris bipod. The action is slick as owlsh*t. :D

I'm hoping to buy a Israeli Mauser in 308 sometime soon.. Or else a turkish mauser, and convert it to a 308..

In any event, a Mauser in a 308, with something like a Burris.

Savage 10FP, Tasco World Class 3-9x50 scope, Harris bipod (total cost: about $600)

1 MOA groups at 100 yards are now disappointing. :D

Rem 7 w/a 2X8 - not a tack-driver, but the elk don't care (well, matter of fact, they do ;) ) - quick, handy 'n good enough to do 400+lb critters all day long.

I would look closely at the CZ bolt action if I were in the market. I'm pretty dang impressed with that European workmanship and the price is right.

Oh yeah, Leupold Vari-X-III, of course.
