What is up PETA's butt?

Well hey, If I mis-understood what he said about Jews, all he has to do is say so. I did ask him to clarify and I asked politely, without rancor or angst.

As for what you can do to the PETA members. If you can find a rally, go to it and take a flyer that lists all of the local animal shelters and hand out the flyers. Ask them to put their words to action by adopting all of those animals that are about to be killed.

Watch their expressions then. I bet not one of them adopts a single animal. Because this isn't about action on their part - it is a group of people with too much time, too much money and too little sense; that want to feel like they belong to a cause, they want to feel like they are doing something important. They want to feel that way, they don't want to do the actual work that goes along with making a difference.

It's not just PETA and their cadre - there are hundreds of organizations out there taking advantage of the same kinds of people - just different causes. Ultimately they all make no difference. The world isn't about to turn vegetarian because of them.

PETA, the Fund for Animals, and a host of similar crackpot schemes all are related in that they were either bankrolled or inspired by the writer and publisher Cleveland Amory.

Which is proof that our country does spend too much on 'the arts' and not enough on 'the sciences'.

:(

A funny thing...

I was JUST reading an article about PETA and how they "save" these animals.

PETA Article

It's an interesting read, check it out.

As always, this is coming from the media, so you also need to consider the source. Now me, ANYTHING I read or hear in the news gets a raised eyebrow.
I guess I'm just skeptical, or perhaps, I'm not a sheep?
