Who is your target customer? Who has the most money is your area?

If the younger customers have more disposable income, I would use a name that appeals to them. To me Gorilla Guns sounds like something that would have more tacticool stuff than I would be interested in.

If the older, I would use T&S, T.S., or some name that might be "vanilla", but won't put off the customers.

My two favorite gun stores are Osage Thrift Shop and Kreislers Drug Store. As the names imply, they sell more than guns, but have excellent gun choices, reloading supplies and a very knowledgeable staff who can order what I want/need.

I do like the idea of combining the two (Name with Logo) names. Most of us see what we expect to see, so I would probably see the T&S Gun store and my nephew would see Gorilla Guns.

Let us know what you end up calling the place.

I'll tell you this much, I'd absolutely put "GUNS" somewhere in the name of the business. It helps folks who are seriously lacking in Google-fu if you stick "GUNS" right in the name. It helps in other places, too. For example... my old GPS in the car. You can't find gun stores specifically, but you can run a search for "gun" in the name of the business and I find all sorts of gun stores with that unit when I'm out of town.

Yeah, yours will be primarily internet, but it still makes sense to me. "Firearms" might sound a little more grown-up than "GUNS" but "GUNS" is easy, simple, and gets to the point immediately, and I believe that will pay off.

Also, just for the sake of all the good that is left in the world... don't use the word "tactical" in any manner. ;)

FWIW there are alot of online gun dealers. If you want to get into that market, I suggest something that will come up near the top if a person uses a search engine. Something like bestgunprices.com or bestdealfirearms.net
