What is the best concealed carry pistol?

The Rohrbach and Seecamp pistols have become cult collectibles. I'd like one too, except for:
1. Cost.
2. Very picky on ammo.
3. Painful to shoot.
4. R-9 needs a new recoil spring every 200 rounds.
5. Seecamp stovepipes on the last round. Get used to it. (don't need a spare mag though.)
6. you won't practice with it.

So, I love my Sig P-238 just fine. Reliable, cool, easy to conceal.
Light recoil, easy slide to rack, affordable (more or less). You can buy 3 Sigs for one Seecamp and not wait two years.

Glock 26

I have been giving my flock 26 a real good chance at being my EEC lately but I have to say that my inexpensive Taurus 85 titanium is still my favorite. It's just so light and easy to through in my pocket holster in my front pocket I often forget it's there. That is probably it's biggest setback. I have more than once had an uncomfortable situation arise and forgot momentarily that I was armed to then remember it's there & breathe a huge sigh of relief!

If it hasn't........

.......been said already, the one you think you like the most. If you're fortunate enough to be by a place to rent-to-shoot, try a couple. If not, then do like I do. I do a lot of online searching as to reviews and recalls. See how much bad you hear, compare it to how much good. Decide what you want out of that particular firearm, and is that firearm up to what you want?
For example, I'm looking for a snubnose that will hold up to constant firing of .357 loads. Some of them 180 to 200 grain ( not a constant diet, I live in a bear area, though they are seldom). The Ruger SP101 is my choice so far. Heavier than what I want, but that is the comprise that I'm willing to make for a steady diet of .357. The three inch is actually more appealling to me, though that was not my first choice. Will add more later , 'cause CSI is on:D. I love that show!

380 Colt Mustang - Steel Version

If you can find one. I have had mine 10 yrs +/- and it is a nice shooting, well made, slick little gun. I have used all kinds of ammo in it over the years and never had 1 single jam or misfire. Maybe I just got lucky with this particular gun but that's the story on mine anyway. It is kept clean and very lightly oiled. If you will not be breaking a auto down religiously to keep it spotless clean go with a revolver, there are may excellent ones allready mentioned here.

Get a holster or body belt or something specifically made to carry your style gun what ever you choose. A pocket is made for carrying many things, a gun is not one of them.
