What is the average price for a used Chinese made SKS?

Don't know if the buyer has a friend or not. Buddy actually had a couple of people who wanted the gun without the ammo.

What was a bit scary was the buyer asking Buddy how to go about getting the gun transferred out of Buddy's name into Buyer's name. This being Texas...

That's just the opposite of what many gun buyers want.

Century brought in a batch of Chinese SKS via Albania the end of last year, sold them as C&R. A bunch of wholesalers had them for under $200. They went pretty quick.

Atlantic Firearms still has some, but they doubled the price.

Arms list today has them listed $400-1000. That is just plain bonkers.

This is an old thread, but if the OP is still on the market for a Chinese SKS, I would suggest an older type 56 model. The Chinese built them using Russian tooling equipment, specs and parts. Their quality is comparable to the Russian SKS original rifles for a fraction of the price.
