Viper, most of us get to the point in our firearms ownership/interest where we move from owners to collectors, and for most quality is almost everything.
As one longtime Smith and Wesson collector, mentioned "never buy a gun you have to make excuses for." I've tried to follow that advice for sometime now and have never regretted my decision.
I have some nicer, & some cheaper guns... I don't like junk though... the few I bought or were inherited went down the road pretty fast... I still have some Tauri ( both revolvers & semi autos ) I still really like my TCP, & have used a couple Tauri revolvers for customs, but generally prefer better quality guns than a Taurus, but if they work, & something is not readily available from a "better" manufacturer I have no problem with them... I also have several antique H&R, H&A, Iver Johnsons in my antique pocket gun collection, & I'm not interested in replacing those, as they offer up examples that are vital to my collection
I have a pretty extensive collection now, & since I built a walk in gun safe room, I have everything displayed on the walls in the safe room, & only have so much space... I find I still have wants, but most of the time I have to get rid of one, to make space for another... so the quality has gone up at some point after I had enough quantity
