What is better than M-4 / XM-15 / AR-15 ?

An M4gery is a look a like civilian verision AR-15 with or without a tel stock. Mine has an A2 stock where RRA LEGP has a fixed position Faux stock ( No Dis intended)

Here are 3 of my favorite cheap ammo rifles

NORINCO NHM-90 5.56(yes its .223) and it can accept an underfolding stock! cost me $200(off a friend)

STG-58 7.62x51 based on imbel receiver with all steyr parts. total cost $940

My M4gery is bushmaster DCM lower with bushy m4a3ish upper. lower was 329 upper was 600, oh, and i only shoot federal out of it.

The platform itself, M1 Carbine. AK versions are great, as well, but expect to add a little for installing better sights.

they are just over his $1000 budget...

But then again he is talking AR-10 stuff too not gonna be fun owning an AR-10 and only the factory 10 round mag.
